Terri G. Davidson, PharmD
CEO and Vice-President, Finance
Terri Davidson serves as the chief executive officer and vice-president of finance of Syntaxx Communications. Dr. Davidson founded Syntaxx Communications in 1997 and is responsible for achieving the company’s strategic objectives and profitability standards as well as securing capital and financial planning.
Dr. Davidson brings more than 25 years of practical and clinical experience in oncology healthcare, team management, and sales. She possesses extensive medical writing and editing experience and has contributed significantly to the publication of more than 250 articles, book chapters, books, abstracts, and posters.
Before founding Syntaxx Communications, Dr. Davidson provided and managed the pharmaceutical care for medical oncology, surgical oncology, hematology, and blood and marrow transplant patients for nearly 15 years at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. She also conducted and published oncology-related clinical research and directed the oncology pharmacy residency and student training at Emory.
Licensed by the Georgia State Board of Pharmacy since 1981, Dr. Davidson is a Board-Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP). She was inducted as a fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) in 1993 and the American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists (ASHP) in 1994. Dr. Davidson has held numerous committee appointments for various organizations and associations, including the ACCP, ASHP, and Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association. She is also a member of the American Medical Writers Association, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Georgia Society of Health-System Pharmacists, and the International Society for Oncology Pharmacy Practitioners.
Dr. Davidson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy from the University of Georgia and Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Kentucky.

Laura L. Jung, PharmD
Vice-President, Operations
Joining Syntaxx Communications in 2004, Laura L. Jung serves as the vice-president of operations. Dr. Jung ensures that a cost-effective operation and infrastructure are in place to deliver consistent and high-quality solutions for clients; the organization’s strategies are clearly understood by all stakeholders; and the organization achieves its strategic goals with high efficiency and minimal costs. Along with the management team, she identifies and leads new business development opportunities.
Dr. Jung comes to Syntaxx with nearly 15 years of clinical pharmacy, research, and medical writing and editing proficiency. She parlayed her clinical oncology pharmacist experience and fellowship training in anticancer drug development into an Assistant Professor position in the Department of Pharmacy and Therapeutics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. During her tenure at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Jung taught hundreds of undergraduate pharmacy students, which included maintaining and developing the oncology pharmacy program at two schools of pharmacy in Pittsburgh. It also included developing and providing a clinical rotation site for pharmacy students and residents.
In addition to her responsibilities at Syntaxx, Dr. Jung is a member of the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association, American Medical Writers Association, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Rho Chi Pharmaceutical Society, and Phi Lambda Sigma. She recently served as the Chair and Vice Chair of the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association’s Nominations Committee.
Dr. Jung holds a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy from the University of North Carolina and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). She was recognized as being the first honor graduate in the MUSC Doctor of Pharmacy program.

Stephanie K. Butler, PharmD
Vice-President, Sales
Having joined Syntaxx Communications in 2002, Stephanie Butler serves as the vice-president of sales. Dr. Butler oversees new customer acquisitions and identifies burgeoning markets as well as identifying innovative ways to satisfy and keep customers for life.
With more than 15 years of healthcare experience, Dr. Butler’s proficiency in clinical pharmacy includes cardiology, general adult medicine, infectious disease, pediatrics, clinical research, and medical writing. These experiences uniquely qualify her to help potential and existing clients find innovative solutions for their exact medical communication needs.
Before joining Syntaxx, Dr. Butler served as a clinical pharmacist for the Children’s Medical Center of Dallas where she directed patient care for a 60-bed pediatric emergency department. Dr. Butler also operated as an Assistant Director of Pharmaceconomics and Outcomes Research at a clinical research organization where she focused on a variety of pharmacoeconomic research initiatives. While employed with a hospital pharmacy management firm, Dr. Butler gained extensive experience in clinical pharmacy management. She is a member of the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association, American Medical Writers Association, and American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
Dr. Butler holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The University of Texas.
